How long have you been a member:
I have been a member of Blue Nile on and off for a combination of almost two years. That is a membership for a season in 2021 and since 2025. For the reminder of the time I was a member of UBC toastmasters club
What keeps you coming back every other week?
Every toastmaster sessions I learn a new things & practice my speaking.
What’s your favorite role to take during a meeting, and why?
I love the evaluation roles (speech & general evaluation) because it helps me to prepare better for my own speeches as well as helping others improve.
What’s one lesson Toastmasters has taught you that you now use outside the club?
I have learnt to prioritize evaluation in everything I do and practice the delivery of my evaluation in a well structured manner. I have learnt over the years the importance of the techniques used to relay constructive feedback.
What’s your favorite Toastmasters memory so far?
The countless inspirational, authentic & vulnerable table topic & prepared speeches I listened & learnt from.
How would your fellow members describe you in one word?
Honestly, I don’t know how they would describe me, but I am sure it would be very positive, as everyone in Toastmasters has an eye for identifying great qualities in individuals and highlighting them.
What is the path you currently pursuing at TM?
I am in the dynamic leadership pathway & plan to be a DTM one day.

What keeps coming-My interest in having English language proficiency.
Favourite part-Table topics.Because I like to hear different perspectives for the questions that I ask.
And I believe it really needs talent for members to organize their thoughts inorder to make a speech, with its own introduction, detail and conclusion.
One lesson- Failure is inevitable, what really matters is to learn from mistakes and proceed . I have learned this in my T.M stay by noticing members' failure and at the same time their coming back.
Favorite memory-My ice breaker speech and the feedback I got from T.M members. Probably, it's one of the reasons that pushed me forward.

Currently I am navigating through almost all T.M roles.
